Campaign 800 is a 3-year marketing and fundraising plan to fund an expansion of our educational program. This plan would enable The Fender Center to open its doors to the 800 young people presently on our waiting list and enroll them into piano, guitar, bass, drum, vocal performance, and combo band lessons.
For over 10 years, The Fender Center has provided a valuable service to the community by providing free and low-cost music lessons to over 10,000 children. The economic crisis has increased demand for scholarships. Over 70% of our students are economically disadvantaged. We have the support of the music community, including internationally recognized performing artists, and the advisory service of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. |
